1949 February New Mexico Magazine
This vintage issue of New Mexico Magazine features articles on the New Mexico School for the Blind at Alamagordo, and on the gift to the state of New Mexico of the famous Coronado Murals by Gerald Cassidy, originally painted in 1921 for a movie theatre in Santa Fe. This issue also includes a geat illustrated article on the "Hobbs...The Oil Capital", as well as the popular feature, "Camera Touring New Mexico".
The magazine features many great vintage advertisements, including an ad for the Albuquerque Hilton Hotel ("Drive right up to our door!").
In good condition, with edge wear and wrinkling on cover; stains on upper front cover; very slight water staining on edges of a couple of pages. Covers have separated slightly from the binding along upper and lower spine edges.
